“Piff Coast Farms started as preservation before it was ever a business. I grew up chasing the real East Coast haze the stuff I grew up on. That haze was the incense, church like smoke people called Piff and realized quickly thatt most of what the world had in seed form was watered down versions bred for speed and yield, or high terpinoline dominant hazes. After hunting down the real cuts and people who still held the original genetics, I made it my mission to keep that lineage alive and offer seeds to the people who like me, were on the hunt for that piff.”

Which genetic lineage defines your brand the most, and why is it emblematic?

Piff Coast Farms:
“The Uptown Piff lineage defines everything.

Sharp incense, electric high, long flowering, low commercial efficiency. The exact traits modern breeding tried to eliminate. We built the brand around protecting what the market abandoned.

All piff is haze, but not all haze is piff.”

What sets your selection and cultivation processes apart from others?

Piff Coast Farms:
“I focus on vigor first when it comes to breeding, looking for plants that truly work in specific environments rather than just having nice bag appeal or finishing in a commercial window. Everything is grown fully organic in living soil with no chemical inputs, and I run both large and small pheno hunts to fit each project and what it requires. I’m not breeding to chase trends, I’m breeding to preserve terpene identities that were disappearing from the market.”

Looking ahead, what innovations or genetic directions are you planning to introduce?

“We’re working on a few directions
Stabilizing true haze expressions so growers can run them reliably. Crossing legacy haze into modern genetics while keeping the incense essence intact.

The goal isn’t to modernize haze, it’s to make the modern market capable of running haze.”

How do you ensure traceability and respect for genetic origins in your work?

Piff Coast Farms:
“We openly credit sources, preserve original cuts, and document lineage.
A lot of the work we release traces directly to growers who kept these plants alive before legalization.

This culture existed before branding and respecting origin matters.”

What core values do you share with cultivators who choose your brand?

Piff Coast Farms:
“Patience, honesty, and pride in the craft.

If someone wants the fastest turnover crop, we’re probably not the right fit.

If they care about unique nostalgic flavors and legacy, they understand exactly what they’re getting with us.”
